In Depth

Cinematic, painterly look. Expanding the Arles series of primes, the Arles Zooms combine high optical quality and mechanical precision in a compact form — a constant T2.6 maximum aperture, a 16-blade iris with soft, natural bokeh, and the same cinematic, painterly depth as the Arles primes.

A parfocal pair covering 25–180mm. The 25-75mm (3x ratio, 20.1″ close focus, 0.23x magnification) and 65-180mm (2.8x ratio, 35″ close focus, 0.22x magnification) overlap to cover a truly wide 25–180mm range. The parfocal design holds focus through the zoom, and consistent gear positions and similar size make for quick lens changes — even with a matte box and lens control motors in place.

Full-frame coverage. Both zooms hold T2.6 across their range and cover full-frame sensors up to a 43.5mm image circle, maximizing light transmission for expansive, three-dimensional imagery with rich textural depth.

Painterly rendering. A custom low-saturation blue coating creates a modern tone while minimizing flares and ghosting, and the warm, natural color science renders skin tones that integrate easily with the DZOFilm ecosystem.

Interchangeable mounts. The short rear flange of the ARRI PL mount allows use with Canon EF mounts, and with Octopus, autofocus, or VND adapters the lenses adapt to mirrorless systems including L-Mount, Canon RF, DJI DX, FUJI X, Nikon Z, and Sony E.

Consistency across the series. 95mm fronts work with your existing matte boxes and filters; cine-style 0.8 MOD focus, iris, and zoom gears throughout, with 270° focus and 100° iris rotation for precise manual control.
